Sperm Freezing

Sperm Freezing

Diluted semen can be stored at -196°C and be used successfully for more than 10 years after cryopreservation.

When should you undergo semen storage?

  • Couples who want to receive artificial reproduction treatment but temporarily live in different locations
  • Men who want to receive a vasectomy
  • Those undergoing cancer, surgery, or medical procedures
  • Those with low sperm counts
  • Those who cannot provide semen on the day of ovum retrieval day
  • A semen donor

Individuals who want to receive assisted reproductive treatments would need to first undergo the VDRL and HIV blood test. A valid marriage certificate is also necessary for those who want to receive test-tube baby treatments.
